50mm Burry Oak Rough Sawn Table Tops

just about to plane up this batch of kiln dry 50mm oak and put them on the website but if anyone wants to get some of them a bit cheaper and save me the backache they can be purchased after viewing at the sawmill for another few weeks. Once planed they will range from £850 to £1500 inc vat, not inc delivery. 2.7m long by up to around 900mm wide. The 3 widest ones from the centre of the log, with the splits all the way up, have been separated to be done as bookmatched pairs etc with one square edge. Rough sawn will all be about £250 cheaper per table top (£90 per linear metre planing charge for 900 wide 2 sides or £45 per lm per face). These boards have been seasoned for 5 years and finished off in the kiln for another 2 months and were done on our old chainsaw mill. Blood (almost!), Sweat (definitely) & Tears (almost – chain broke and gave one of the guys a smart slap on the posterior! I think that was the last nail in the coffin for the old girl, now gathering dust ) Provenance Yester, East Lothian.
