Fresh load of 50mm rough sawn oak just out of the kiln, 1.8m and 3.6m lengths, 6 cubic metres in total, all grades, square edge and waney, some partly brown, some pippy/burry/figured, some quarter sawn. Very visible sticker marks on the surface reveal the 2 and a half years the seasoning process took. Slow air-dried and slow kilned to finish off (nearly 6 weeks) this batch is lovely and dry right to the core of the boards. We will be starting to get some of the batch planed and on the website shop pages next week. Sawn boards are available for sale to calling customers and are individually graded and priced on request.
