The Wood Place Covid measures as of 2nd February 2021: shop still closed and continuing click and collect restrictions

Scottish Government law changed with effect from Saturday 16th January regarding businesses offering click and collect in Scotland: only those supplying essential goods will be able to offer click and collect – we are supplying non-essential goods and as it is perfectly possible to deliver these goods we are suspending click and collect.

We will continue to allow customers purchasing online to select the click and collect option;  however these goods will not be able to be collected until the current restriction is lifted.

We are putting these changes into immediate effect,  rather than from Saturday.  This is to support the message that it is better to stay at home.

We are still able to offer full DELIVERY services as normal.

Scot Gov says these measures likely to stay in place until at least the end of February, with next news due around 15th Feb.

UPDATE 16TH FEBRUARY 2021 : NO CHANGE, STILL END FEB/START OF MARCH AT LEAST UNTIL ANY LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS ARE LIKELY TO BE LIFTED, SUCH AS ALLOWING NON-ESSENTIAL RETAIL TO OPEN OR CLICK AND COLLECT AT THESE PREMISES TO OPERATE ONCE AGAIN.    There should be an announcement on Tuesday 23rd February detailing the proposed lifting of restrictions timescales and criteria to allow it if all goes well, and perhaps then we will have more clues as to re-opening or collections.  However,  assume we are now looking at mid March  or beyond.   REMEMBER we can offer full delivery services and if you have placed an order via click and collect and wish to add delivery we can make that happen,  please email [email protected]
