THE WOOD PLACE TRADING UPDATE – shop to open 30th June
THE WOOD PLACE TRADING UPDATE – shop to open 30th June
Following the Scottish Government Phase 2 advice issued on the 18th we are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening the Lanarkshire retail shop to calling customers from Tuesday 30th June 2020.
All non-essential retail shops in Scotland with outdoor entrances and exits (that’s us!!) will be permitted to open from 29th June.
We will then implement a new Shop Opening Hours timetable which will be:
TUESDAYS 10 – 2
THURSDAYS 10 – 2
SATURDAYS 10 – 2
.
- Please follow government advice to wear face coverings in shops (this may become mandatory anyway, TBC)
- Please keep your 2m distance at all times from staff and other visitors.
- Be prepared to wait outside the shop or in your car until signalled if there are too many people in the shop.
- Please use the hand cleaning station just inside the door before moving in to the shop and before exiting.
.
ONLINE ORDERS / CUSTOM ORDERS / deliveries & collections:
We continue to process and deliver all web orders as normal, though the couriers are busy and overnight deliveries are currently mostly 2 day (TNT).
We continue to offer CUSTOMER COLLECTIONS which until Tuesday 30th June will be from the entrance to the sawmill (green) sheds – follow the signage for ‘collections’. Please make an appointment for collections so that we can put out your dry wood at the last possible moment – it is undercover from falling rain but exposed to the atmosphere. If very wet it will be plastic wrapped. From 30th June Collections will resume from the shop building as normal.
