a small batch of prime oak, square edged, planed all round, and some single waney edge, mostly quarter sawn, planed to give a representation of the much larger batch which will largely not be planed but will be sold in Rough Sawn format to calling customers.

2.4m and 3m lengths, 200 to 400mm wide, quarter sawn & crown cut, some pippy & burry.

Contact patrick if you wish to come and view at the premises the sawn board stock – roughly £50 a cubic foot plus vat, more for small quantities of the best stuff if there is any of that remaining shortly, equals less than half the price of the planed boards on the website. Please only buy rough sawn if you are a genuine maker with planing abilities – you will need to remove at least 3mm off each face to clean up, if not able then stick to the planed stuff. We are selling more of our wood in rough sawn format though.
